Common Troubleshooting for Trenchless Drilling Machine
Dec 16, 2024| 1. Deterministic failure: This type of failure is usually caused by hardware damage in the control system host. It is necessary to find the root cause of the failure and repair it.
2. Random failure: The cause of this type of failure is relatively complex and may be related to the installation quality of the component, parameter setting, component quality, software design and working environment. It can usually be restored by restarting and other measures, but it may occur repeatedly during operation.
3. Spindle component failure: It may be caused by problems with the automatic clamping mechanism and the automatic speed regulating device inside the spindle. It is necessary to adjust the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder and the stroke switch device for loosening the tool, or adjust the nut on the disc spring to reduce the spring compression.
4. Transmission chain failure: It is reflected in the decline of motion quality, such as mechanical parts not moving to the position, operation interruption, reduced positioning accuracy, etc. It is necessary to check the ball screw pair, static pressure screw nut pair, rolling guide and other components.
5. Automatic tool changer failure: The failure is mainly manifested in tool magazine movement failure, positioning error, unstable clamping of the manipulator on the tool holder and large motion error of the manipulator. In severe cases, the tool change action will be stuck.
6. The drill bit is broken: it may be caused by excessive force, blunt drill bit, or the machine is not stuck. The drill bit needs to be replaced, the clamping mechanism needs to be adjusted and clamped.
7. There is no power when drilling: it may be caused by clutch wear, and the clutch needs to be replaced.
8. The drilling size is poor: it may be caused by drill bit wear, drill bit not clamped, and positioning block wear. The drill bit needs to be replaced, the drill bit needs to be locked, and the positioning block needs to be replaced.
