To mark its 20th anniversary, Zuantong completed the construction of the Zuantong Building and established its core R&D department on the top floor.
In December, Zuantong Company was recognized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) as a recommended enterprise for export and received a provincial second-class award for scientific and technological progress.
In September, Zuantong's third new factory building was put into operation.
Zhuantong's 20-ton product won the 2013 Award for Outstanding Trenchless Products from the Trenchless Technology Professional Committee of the Geological Society of China; that same year, the company launched its first pipe-jacking machine.
Zuantong launched the AT series of horizontal rock drilling rigs, which quickly garnered widespread attention in both domestic and international markets.
In September, Zuantong's technologies and drilling rig products won the First Prize of the Science and Technology Award from the Ministry of Land and Resources; in November of the same year, the company received the "Excellent Product Award" at the 15th China Hi-Tech Fair.
The 400-ton drilling rig, successfully drilled through in December, was recognized as a "Jiangsu Province First-of-Its-Kind Major Equipment Product."
After seven years of dedicated effort in overseas markets, Zuantong was honored with the "Special Contribution Award" for 2009–2010 by the International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT). That same year, the company achieved dual certification for ISO quality management and environmental management systems-certifications it has maintained ever since.
Zuantong obtained National High-Tech Enterprise certification and has maintained this status continuously since 2010; that same year, the company established the Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Trenchless Equipment.
Zuantong obtained ISO 9001:2000 quality management system certification; in the same year, it became an industry-university-research base for the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).

In June, Zuantong obtained CE certification for the first time. That same year, the parent company completed its restructuring into a joint-stock company, establishing Shenzhen Zuantong Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd.
Zuantong established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Shanghai Zhentong Trenchless Technology Co., Ltd., in Shanghai; successfully launched a 35-ton hydraulic cylinder and chain-drive pipe-laying drilling rig; and established a firm foothold in Central China.
Wuxi Zuantong Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. was established; the company set up a drill pipe workshop and introduced a drill pipe production line. That same year, Zuantong ventured beyond the domestic market for the first time to expand into overseas markets.
Five models in the ZT series-with capacities of 10, 12, 15, 18, and 25 tons-have been launched on the market.
Shenzhen Zuantong Company was established in Shenzhen, and the Zuantong brand was born.
