Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) rigs are utilized for the trenchless installation of underground pipelines-including those for power, telecommunications, natural gas, sewage, and water supply-enabling the crossing of obstacles such as roads, railways, airport runways, rivers, fish ponds, and existing structures.
According to assessments by the Trenchless Technology Professional Committee of the Geological Society of China, the Drillto brand has consistently ranked among the top three in the domestic market for 26 consecutive years. It held the number one position in national sales for 15 years during its peak period, and in 2015, it reached the top spot domestically while also ranking among the leaders globally, establishing itself as a recognized premier manufacturer of horizontal directional drilling equipment. Specifically, the market share for Drillto ZT-series trenchless pipe-laying rigs was 20.8%, 23.6%, and 24.8% from 2019 to 2021, respectively. In the realms of complex geological formations and specialized engineering, Drillto leverages a portfolio of purpose-built equipment-such as AT all-formation rock-drilling rigs, high-precision inclined-shaft drilling rigs, and tunnel/gallery drilling rigs-to maintain a technological edge in niche areas like hard-rock crossings, long-distance crossings, and high-precision construction.
