Horizontal directional drilling construction: what is the content of drilling operation

1、 Preparation before spudding
Wipe the drilling rig clean, and check whether the drilling rig is damaged during transportation, and whether the bolts and oil circuit joints are loose; Check the diesel engine, water, engine oil and diesel oil; Check the mud pump oil; Check whether the engine oil and hydraulic oil of the power head are insufficient, whether grease is added to each grease fitting, whether lubricating oil or water is added to all other parts requiring lubrication or cooling, and add thread oil to the threads of the drill pipe bit; Connect the oil pipe, water pipe and circuit; The drilling tools and tools shall be stacked neatly; Tools and sundries shall not be placed above the power station, mechanical moving parts and nearby; Prepare water for mud.
2、 Rig start-up
Close the power switch; Unlock and press the start button to start the diesel engine; Release the diesel engine immediately after starting; Let the diesel engine start and run for five minutes before loading. Gradually increase the throttle. The diesel engine runs at a high speed. With a tachometer, adjust the throttle according to the pointer. Without a watch, listen to the tone of the throttle.
3、 Operation of drilling pilot hole
Adjust the included angle of the guide rail and replace the oil pipe. Connect the drill pipe and guide bit and tighten them.
Specific steps: start the mud pump - forward rotation - feed (or find an hour to feed) - stop feeding - stop forward rotation - close the mud pump - front clamping - drag back 3 cm - reverse rotation - drag back - fast drag back - forward rotation - fast drag back stop - drag back stop - add drill pipe - feed - feed stop - forward rotation stop - release the front gripper.
4、 Hole expanding and cleaning
Stop drilling after the pilot hole is drilled through. To stop the drill, use two pipe wrenches and force rods to remove the guide drill bit, connect the reaming drill bit and female drawbar, expand the two drill pipes back, exit the reaming drill bit, connect the transfer case, male drawbar, and drill pipe, and tie the drill pipe with coarse hemp rope and tighten it. Pull the drill bit back into the hole and then expand the hole by rotating it forward.
The reaming operation steps are as follows: open the mud pump - forward rotation - drag back - drag back stop - forward rotation stop - close the mud pump - front clamp - rear clamp - reverse rotation - reverse rotation stop - shackle - forward rotation - forward rotation stop - rear release - reset - reverse rotation - reverse rotation stop - rear clamp - reverse rotation - rear release - drag back - take the drill pipe - drag back stop - feed - fast feed—— Forward rotation - fast feed stop - feed stop - forward rotation stop - front release.
When unloading the drill pipe, connect a drill pipe at the opposite outlet at the same time. After pulling the drill bit back out of the hole, remove the drill bit and conduct the second hole reaming... hole cleaning.
After the hole is cleaned and reamed to the required diameter, it can be cleaned once or several times according to the situation in the hole. It is also possible not to clean the hole. The hole cleaning and reaming operations are identical.
