Construction process of Horizontal Directional Machine

(1) Preparation before construction
Equipment inspection: Ensure that the drilling rig, drill pipe, reamer, mud pump and other equipment are in good condition.
Site layout: Level the construction site, set up warning signs and fences to ensure the safety of the construction area.
Geological survey: Understand the underground soil conditions and avoid underground pipelines and other facilities.
(2) Guide hole construction
Drilling trajectory design: According to the design requirements, plan the trajectory of the guide hole to ensure that the drill bit moves along the predetermined path.
Real-time monitoring: The operator adjusts the drilling direction in real time through the monitoring system to ensure the accuracy of the drill bit position.
(3) Hole expansion and pullback
Hole expansion: Gradually expand the diameter of the guide hole, usually using multi-stage hole expansion.
Pullback: Connect the pipe or cable to the end of the drill pipe and pull it into the hole through the pullback force of the drill rig.
(4) Post-construction processing
Equipment maintenance: After the construction is completed, clean the equipment and replace the hydraulic oil and lubricating oil.
Mud treatment: Properly handle the mud generated during the construction process to avoid environmental pollution.
