The pipe pusher is mainly composed of a pushing cylinder, a base, and a pipe clamp. After the pipeline is clamped by the pipe clamper, it provides strong thrust or pulling force through the expansion and contraction of the two propulsion cylinders to realize the advance or backward of the pipeline.
The gripper will be transported by a mobile crane or pipelayers as a whole device. Therefore gripper section apply high-strength Q355 steel material in order to reduce weight and improve performance in low temperature
Weight reduction is achieved through topological optimization design.
The opening hydraulic cylinder and the control panel for the clamp opening are located on top and the hydraulic cylinders opening can be remote controlled.
The base of the Pipe Pusher is a device used to drive the front gripper, enabling pushing/pulling operations. It is equipped with two large hydraulic cylinders and a stable base, allowing it to generate a powerful pulling force of up to 750 tons.
